“Thanks to Ambatovy’s support, the donation of sewing machines in December 2017, the exchange trip in Antsirabe in 2018, let alone the series of training we received, our activities within the Mendrika association have significantly developed and the standard of living of its members has improved,” declared Haingo Vololona Raholiarimanana, the President of the Mendrika Women’s Association, located in the Rural Commune of Morarano Gare, in Moramanga.  Indeed, the association has just set up an outlet to sell clothing and handicrafts made from local materials. Each of the 27 members of the association is currently able to take charge of the income-generating activities on their own, continued the source.
