Antananarivo, May 20, 2022.

Ambatovy’s Vice-President in charge of Sustainability, Philippe Beaulne, and Minister Marie Michelle Sahondrarimalala signed a collaboration agreement on May 20, in Anosy, in Antananarivo, to provide scholarships to young girls in secondary schools in its intervention areas. This four-year agreement will establish all the criteria necessary for awarding scholarships to the young girls from vulnerable families in the District of Toamasina I and II, and in Brickaville and Moramanga. A Scholarship Award Committee will be set up to receive scholarship applications and select eligible students. In addition to being from vulnerable families, the scholarship awardee must have good grades in school. The objective is to enable them to continue their secondary education after obtaining the Elementary Primary School Certificate (CEPE). As part of its commitment to contributing to the sustainable development of its intervention areas, Ambatovy prioritizes the promotion of education for all.
