Following the two fire incidents that struck the villages of Beforona, in the District of Moramanga, and Ampasimbe, in the District of Brickaville, respectively on October 7 and 11, 2022, Ambatovy provided emergency assistance with a value of more than 21.4 million Ariary to meet the most urgent needs of the victims. On October 13, 2022, 162 disaster victims in Beforona thus received more than one tonne of rice, 263 kg of sugar, 263 kg of beans and 158 liters of cooking oil, as well as bars of soap. In addition, 900 kg of rice, 150 kg of sugar, 150 kg of beans and 60 liters of cooking oil were given by Ambatovy to the 100 victims in Ampasimbe, on October 17, 2022.
