With the health and safety of its employees and surrounding communities as a top priority, Ambatovy is committed to enhancing road safety in Moramanga. As part of this commitment, Ambatovy has supported a series of training sessions focused on road traffic regulations for cycle-rickshaw and Tuc Tuc drivers. This year marked the third wave of training reaching 215 tricycle drivers in Moramanga, including 178 pedal-pushers and 37 Tuc Tuc drivers.
In collaboration with the District of Moramanga, the Direction Régionale de l’Enseignement Technique et de la Formation Professionnelle, the Police Nationale, the Gendarmerie Nationale, and the Commune Urbaine de Moramanga, the initiative aims not only to improve road safety within Moramanga, but also to enhance the employability of tricycle drivers through comprehensive skills training.
