Ambatovy’s commitment to the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative was recently mentioned by the International Council on Mining and Minerals in their newsletter, Good Practice, issued May 2013. The participation of the extractive industries in Madagascar is an important element of the EITI membership process. Ambatovy continues to remain a firm advocate for Madagascar’s efforts to attain EITI membership.
