The recent heavy rains, floods and landslides have had a devastating impact on the roads and other infrastructure in the Alaotra-Mangoro Region. As a full member of the community, Ambatovy – through its Emergency Response Team (ERT) at the Mine – is providing support to the local communities and authorities in the search for people who are still missing following the dam failure in Moramanga.
Seven members of Ambatovy’s ERT assisted in the search with a zodiac boat. We express our deepest sympathies to the families whose loved ones are still reported missing.
