As part of its contributions in the fight against Covid-19, Ambatovy handed over, on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, batches of medical supplies, with a total value of more than 40.7 million Ariary to the health authorities of the Atsinanana Region. This contribution from Ambatovy is intended to strengthen hospitals’ capacity to provide care for Covid-19 patients and to protect health care personnel. This donation consists of ten oxygen concentrators, fifteen rotameters and fifteen humidifiers offered to the Morafeno University Hospital; and Covid-19 kits comprised  of protective suits, gloves, surgical masks, visors, syringes, and cotton blankets given to the Atsinanana Regional Directorate of Public Health (DRSPA).

As a reminder, Ambatovy has already provided various State and community entities with batches of medical and health equipment worth a total of 1,105,869,997 Ariary in 2020 and 2021, for the fight against Covid-19.
