In order to improve hygiene and water drainage conditions within the Urban Municipality of Toamasina, Ambatovy has supported the city’s sanitation initiatives. The company recently delivered a batch of sanitation equipment consisting of 25 shovels, 28 forks, and eight wheelbarrows on April 30th. This support is part of Ambatovy’s ongoing commitment to its host communities and will also contribute to improving the working conditions of municipal staff. As a reminder, Ambatovy recently actively participated in an emergency intervention for the drainage of stagnant water within the Urban Municipality of Toamasina in early April, using various machinery such as bulldozers, dump trucks, and factory compressors for several days.
