As part of its community development programme, Ambatovy handed over 375 solar kits to the communes of Ambohibary, Andasibe and Morarano Gara on June 14, 2023. Each kit consisted of a 20W 16V solar panel, a control box, a NCM-56 Wh lithium battery, four ceiling lights and a motion sensor. A radio was also offered with each kit by the supplier. This donation, worth 217 million Ariary, is in addition to the 500 solar kits that Ambatovy already gave to vulnerable households in the Communes of Ampasimbe, Ranomafana Est and Tanambao, in February 2023.
