Ambatovy donated two oxygen concentrators, worth 13.6 million Ariary, to SMIMO -or Service Médical Inter-entreprises de Moramanga- in late May 2021. Intended for patients suffering from respiratory failure, these devices will play a vital role in the treatment of people with severe forms of Covid-19. As part of Ambatovy’s contributions to the fight against Covid-19 in Madagascar, the company also responded favorably to the request made by the Brickaville District Health Service (SSD) by providing the latter with medical equipment consisting of bottles of hydroalcoholic solution, gloves and surgical masks, also in May 2021.
