“My business has truly grown since I took part in the support program created by Ambatovy and La Fabrique,” said Vonintsoa Rindranalanirina, owner of MAGUYA, a clothing workshop in Moramanga. Vonintsoa Rindranalanirina is one of the young entrepreneurs selected to take part in this support program funded by Ambatovy in collaboration with the NGO, La Fabrique. After training sessions on business management, including communication and marketing, financial management, and time management in July 2023, the young entrepreneur had the opportunity to participate, for the first time, in a major international fair, FIER MADA 2023. This experience was crucial for the further development of her business, which specializes in the production of traditional Malagasy clothing and embroidery. VOVICO, another young business in Toamasina specialized in coconut-based products, was also selected to take part in the same program and participated in the fair. “I started out in 2020 by selling only ‘bonbons coco,’ but thanks to the support I received from Ambatovy and La Fabrique I have been able to expand my product range while ensuring better quality,” said Brizette Kalo, VOVICO’s owner.
