Stef’Auto’s women’s volleyball team from Toamasina, sponsored by Ambatovy, is the champion of Madagascar for the second year in a row, after a competition that it literally flew over. Madagascar’s championship final was held last Saturday, September 27th, at the Sports Palace of Mahamasina, Antananarivo, between the team from Toamasina and its eternal rival, the VBCD from Analamanga. The latter lost by a score of 3 sets to 0. Not only does Stef’Auto retain its title but it will also have the honor to represent the Great Island at the Zone 7 Champion Clubs’ Cup, to be held in the Seychelles, in November this year.
Ambatovy began supporting Stef’Auto in 2012, the year in which the team won the Zone 7 Champion Clubs’ Cup. This sponsoring is part of Ambatovy’s commitment to supporting youth development in its operating areas
