On August 29, 2025, Ambatovy officially launched its new High School Scholarship program, reaffirming its commitment to education in its areas of operation. For the 2025–2026 school year, 56 deserving students from vulnerable families in Ambatovy’s intervention zones – including the districts of Toamasina I and II, Moramanga, and Brickaville – will receive support to continue their secondary studies.
Among this year’s 56 recipients, 16 are part of the first cohort of secondary school scholarship students, who began the program in 2021 and successfully obtained their BEPC in 2025. The remaining 40 are new beneficiaries.
With the launch of this new program, Ambatovy now offers a complete educational pathway, supporting students from lower secondary school through to university. This means that Ambatovy can accompany students for up to ten consecutive years – from the first year of lower secondary school through to their third year at university.
