Toamasina, July 31, 2023
In July 2023, the company distributed 375 solar kits to families living in three rural municipalities surrounding its plant site in Toamasina, namely Fanandrahana, Amboditandroroho, and Toamasina Suburbaine. This donation, valued at over 217 million ariary, is part of Amabtovy’s community development program. Each solar kit was made up of a 20W 16V solar panel, a control box, a lithium-NCM-56 Wh battery, four ceiling lights, and a motion detector. A small radio was also given with each kit.
