Leading the way in the sustainable production of nickel and cobalt
Ambatovy is a large-scale nickel and cobalt mining enterprise in Madagascar, comprised of a lateritic mine near Moramanga
and a processing plant in Toamasina. The two sites are linked by a pipeline of approximately 220 km in length.
With an annual design capacity of 60,000 tonnes of nickel and 5,600 tonnes of cobalt, Ambatovy is the largest finished nickel
and finished cobalt operation from lateritic ore in the world.
