Ambatovy is a large-scale nickel and cobalt mining enterprise in Madagascar, comprised of a lateritic mine near
Moramanga and a processing plant in Toamasina. The two sites are linked by a pipeline of approximately 220 km in
length. With production of fully refined nickel and cobalt now underway, Ambatovy is poised to become one of the
world’s largest lateritic nickel mines and Madagascar’s leading industrial partner.
