This could be a type of pottery made in another region. In
any case, it was widely disseminated as this pattern was
also found at the site of Dembeni Mayotte (Comoros) and
dates back to the 14th century.
The decorative patterns on all local potteries collected
can be seen on the upper part of the vessel.
