fusion-text-1\"><p>Ambatovy announces a change in its shareholding structure following the transfer by Sumitomo Corporation of its entire equity interest in the Ambatovy operations to UK-based <strong>Ambatovy Mineral Resources Investment Holding Company<\/strong> (\u201cAMRI\u201d), a consortium led by Essenwood Partners Limited in partnership with Zungu Investments.<\/p>\n<p>This transaction marks a new phase for Ambatovy, with AMRI bringing strong experience in the mining sector, particularly in nickel, and a clear commitment to building on the operation\u2019s established foundations in safety, operational performance, and stakeholder engagement.<\/p>\n<p>With this transaction, Ambatovy\u2019s shareholders are now AMRI and KOMIR.<\/p>\n<p>Ambatovy also recognizes the contribution of Sumitomo Corporation over more than two decades to the development of the nickel and cobalt operations.<\/p>\n<p>As recovery efforts continue following Cyclone Gezani, Ambatovy remains
