Ambatovy has just completed a year exceeding the projected yearly production levels set for 2021. We are now amongst the top 5 producers of Nickel and Cobalt, supplying high-quality briquettes of 99.9% pure metal to the market.<\/p>\n

We are increasing our customer base to strategic battery minerals\/climate change fighters across Asia, Europe and North America.<\/p>\n

Our Nickel and Cobalt are produced in a responsible manner, with utmost concern and commitment to do the right thing, every time, all the time.<\/p>\n

Our Sustainability program is second to none worldwide. Ambatovy has an extensive Community and Social Relations program, addressing critical issues such as education, food security, and sustainable livelihoods.<\/p>\n

Our biodiversity commitment includes protecting large conservation areas. We have an orchidarium and orchid parks with over 283 orchid species, including 28 new species we discovered and some that are critically endangered.\u00a0 The orchids are protected and transferred to our rehabilitation areas. We also protect a large number of fauna, including unique Lemurs which only exist in Madagascar.<\/p>\n

We have strong oversight by national regulators, independent engineers as well as by a Scientific Consultative Committee, comprised of national and international scientists renowned for their expertise in biodiversity, conservation and environmental management.<\/p>\n

We owe our 2021 achievements to a strong and fully committed team.\u00a0 They succeeded in achieving a major turnaround, in very difficult and challenging conditions, including the Covid-19 pandemic, which had led to stopping production between March 2020 and March 2021.<\/p>\n

We are proud of our diverse and international workforce, with over 90% Malagasy employees, and 65% of leadership roles held by Malagasy professionals and increasing.<\/p>\n

With a firm base in Madagascar, and a strong commitment to social responsibility and to the environment, we aim to become the best supplier of sustainable Nickel and Cobalt to the market. These minerals are critical to assist the world in fighting climate change.<\/p>\n
