Ambatovy is continuing to provide technical support for the farmers\u2019 associations in the Districts of Brickaville and Toamasina II to build their organizational, structural and technical capacities. The members of ten agricultural cooperatives, operating mainly in poultry farming as well as in turmeric, corn and fruit tree cultivation, are currently following a training series, funded by Ambatovy, on leadership, the life of cooperatives, and the current legislation that is governing them. The training, organized in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Industry of the Atsinanana Region, started in December 2017 and will end in mid-February 2018. To enable all the members to participate, the training sessions have been held at the cooperatives\u2019 headquarters. Another training series for Water Users Associations (WUA) has been held, in parallel with those workshops, in the area of each association\u2019s site, from December 2017 to mid-February 2018. These training sessions, provided in collaboration with the Rural Engineering Service of the Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Livestock of the Atsinanana Region, focus on hydro-agricultural network management and maintenance. It is to be noted that, to date, Ambatovy has supported the creation of 35 WUA, a dozen of which are based in the District of Toamasina II, with the remaining in Brickaville.<\/p>\n

Ambatovy poursuit son appui technique aux associations paysannes bas\u00e9es dans les districts de Brickaville et Toamasina II dans le but de renforcer leurs capacit\u00e9s organisationnelles, structurelles et techniques. Effectivement, les membres de dix coop\u00e9ratives agricoles qui op\u00e8rent essentiellement dans l\u2019aviculture, la culture de curcuma, de ma\u00efs et d\u2019arbres fruitiers, suivent actuellement des s\u00e9ries de formations financ\u00e9es par Ambatovy sur le leadership, la vie des coop\u00e9ratives et les l\u00e9gislations en vigueur qui les r\u00e9gissent. Organis\u00e9es en collaboration avec la Direction R\u00e9gionale de l\u2019Industrie Atsinanana, lesdites formations ont d\u00e9marr\u00e9 au mois de d\u00e9cembre 2017 et prendront fin en mi-f\u00e9vrier 2018. Pour permettre \u00e0 tous les membres d\u2019y participer, les formations ont \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9es dans les si\u00e8ges des coop\u00e9ratives. Parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 ces ateliers, d\u2019autres s\u00e9ries de formations destin\u00e9es aux associations d\u2019usagers d\u2019eau (AUE) se tiennent \u00e9galement dans le p\u00e9rim\u00e8tre de base de chaque association, du mois de d\u00e9cembre 2017 au mi-f\u00e9vrier 2018. Quant \u00e0 ces derni\u00e8res qui sont dispens\u00e9es en collaboration avec le Service du G\u00e9nie Rural de la Direction R\u00e9gionale de l\u2019Agriculture et de l\u2019Elevage Atsinanana, elles portent sur la gestion et l\u2019entretien des r\u00e9seaux hydroagricoles. A noter que, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 maintenant, Ambatovy a appuy\u00e9 la cr\u00e9ation de 35 AUE dont une douzaine dans le District de Toamasina II et le reste \u00e0 Brickaville.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
