Thus, the company has supported the establishment of a management transfer contract for these COBA, provided technical guidance to achieve the actual management of these natural resources, and supported the COBA in their income-generating activities in order to reduce their dependence on forest resources. Three of these COBA, all based in the rural Municipality of Ambohibary, mainly Ezaka sy Fandrosoana, Miaro ny Tontolo Iainana, and Ambohimanarivo Ala Maintso, in early December 2017, signed a three-year renewal of their management transfer contracts for a surface area of over 1,600ha. It should be noted that two other COBAs in the rural Municipality of Morarano Gare, Telomira and Velonaina, also renewed their management transfer contracts this year.<!--:--><!--:fr--><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10935\" title=\"transfert\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ambatovy.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/transfert.jpg\" alt=\"transfert\" width=\"515\" height=\"298\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Lors de la signature des contrats de renouvellement de transfert de gestion.<br \/>\nAmbatovy collabore \u00e9troitement avec les populations avoisinantes regroup\u00e9es au sein des Communaut\u00e9s de base (COBA) dans ses actions pour la protection de l\u2019environnement autour de son site minier, \u00e0 Moramanga, et la gestion des ressources naturelles en dehors des zones de conservation. Ainsi, la compagnie appuie la mise en place du contrat de transfert de gestion \u00e0 ces COBA, assure leur encadrement technique dans la r\u00e9alisation de la gestion proprement dite de ces ressources naturelles, et les soutient dans leurs activit\u00e9s g\u00e9n\u00e9ratrices de revenus, dans le but de r\u00e9duire leur d\u00e9pendance aux ressources foresti\u00e8res. Trois d\u2019entre elles, toutes bas\u00e9es dans la Commune Rurale d\u2019Ambohibary, \u00e0 savoir, Ezaka sy Fandrosoana, Miaro ny Tontolo Iainana, et Ambohimanarivo Ala Maintso, ont sign\u00e9, en d\u00e9but du mois de d\u00e9cembre 2017, le contrat de transfert de gestion de plus de 1 600 ha au total, lequel contrat est renouvel\u00e9 pour une dur\u00e9e de trois ans.
