During the 5th Research Forum in 2017, devoted to “Biodiversity and The Goals of Sustainable Development,” Ambatovy shared with the scientific community the actions taken by the company to preserve orchids in its mine site in Moramanga. For the first part of the conference trilogy, held in June in Tsimbazaza, Ambatovy displayed a poster on the adopted mitigation approaches, the rescue procedures, the results, and the future prospects of Ambatovy\u2019s orchid management program, and won second prize among the 49 posters that were on display. The Research Forum is a scientific event that is held every year with the participation of the universities of Madagascar, scientific research institutes, and ministerial departments.<\/p>\n
