Conducting awareness campaigns and supporting young peer educators who take charge of the “Friends of Youth” kiosks, are part of Ambatovy’s various actions to combat HIV\/AIDS both within the workplace and its host communities. Over the past three months, 25 young peer educators from the TAMAGA kiosk in Toamasina have benefited from training funded by Ambatovy and provided by the Regional Task Force on HIV \/ AIDS Prevention. It should be noted that other training sessions, conducted in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Youth and Sports in Atsinanana and the Malagasy Red Cross also took place during this period. In the framework of young peer educators’ capacity building, they focused on sports entertainment techniques and first aid. Besides, Ambatovy supported the establishment of a dozen youth kiosks in the Atsinanana and Alaotra Mangoro regions. Ambatovy particularly plans to provide the TAMAGA kiosk in Toamasina, which is among the most dynamic and also the most frequented by other youngsters, with new equipment.<\/p>\n

Mener des campagnes de sensibilisation, appuyer les jeunes pairs \u00e9ducateurs qui prennent en charge les kiosques \u00ab Amis des jeunes \u00bb, font partie des diverses actions men\u00e9es par Ambatovy pour lutter contre le VIH\/SIDA tant sur le lieu de travail qu\u2019au sein de ses communaut\u00e9s h\u00f4tes. Ainsi, durant les trois derniers mois, 25 jeunes pairs \u00e9ducateurs du kiosque TAMAGA \u00e0 Toamasina ont pu b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019une formation financ\u00e9e par Ambatovy et dispens\u00e9e par le Task Force R\u00e9gional sur la pr\u00e9vention au VIH\/SIDA. A noter que d\u2019autres sessions de formation entrant dans le cadre du renforcement de capacit\u00e9s des jeunes pairs \u00e9ducateurs de ce kiosque, ax\u00e9es sur les techniques d\u2019animations sportives et le secourisme, ont \u00e9galement eu lieu durant cette p\u00e9riode, en collaboration avec la Direction R\u00e9gionale de la Jeunesse et des Sports Atsinanana et Croix Rouge Malagasy. Ambatovy a appuy\u00e9 la mise en place d\u2019une dizaine de kiosques des jeunes dans les r\u00e9gions Atsinanana et Alaotra Mangoro.
